Me and my biological dad first started to write back and forth when I was around 11. He was kind and nice and was interesting, he told me all kinds of stuff mostly where I had gotten my creative art skills from. But eventually he stoped writting me and I stoped running to the mailbox hopeing I had mail. He wrote to me again when I was 14, again we went back and forth only this time. He became mean and rude towards not only me, but my family. I saw his true colors and I was scared. Because all my life I grew up without a father figure and the one that I had hope would become one, let me down. So, I cut off all ties with him so I could try to feel better about not only myself, but to keep me safe.
